Allied Masonic Degrees Regalia

The Allied Masonic Degrees (AMD) is an organization that confers additional degrees in Freemasonry. The organization and its degrees are not recognized by all Grand Lodges, and the regalia worn by members during meetings and ceremonies is designed to distinguish them from members of other branches of Freemasonry.

The regalia worn by members of the Allied Masonic Degrees typically includes an apron, collar, and jewel. The apron is typically made of white lambskin, and adorned with a blue border and various symbols that are specific to the degree. The collar is worn around the neck, and adorned with the emblem of the degree. The jewel is typically pinned to the lapel of a coat or jacket, and is specific to the individual's rank within the degree.

The symbols and emblems used in the AMD Regalia are varied and can vary depending on the degree being conferred. Some of the degrees have specific symbols, such as the Knights of Constantinople which has a cross and crescent, or the Knight of the Sacred Arch which has a triple tau.

Overall, the Allied Masonic Degrees Regalia is an important part of the tradition and history of Freemasonry and is worn by members as a symbol of their commitment to the principles of the degree. As mentioned earlier, the AMD organization and its degrees are not recognized by all Grand Lodges, therefore the regalia and degrees may not be recognized by all Freemasonry jurisdictions.
